Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has raised serious concerns about the alarming rate of early and untimely deaths across Nigeria. Sharing his recent experience during a trip from Anambra to Abia, he revealed he was shocked by the sheer number of obituary posters featuring young Nigerians.
Edochie believes these deaths are spiritually rooted, blaming the growing neglect of African traditional religions. According to him, ancestors and spirits are angry due to the abandonment of indigenous worship, and he stressed the urgent need for nationwide spiritual cleansing and a return to traditional values.
