Yoruba Nollywood was thrown into deep mourning as top industry stars turned out in large numbers to honour the late actress, Allwell Ademola, with heartfelt tributes and emotional farewells.
Following the announcement of her burial arrangements by her family, a Service of Songs was held on January 8, accompanied by a candlelight procession filled with prayers, tears, and fond memories. The beloved actress will be laid to rest on January 9 at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.



The ongoing Service of Songs has drawn an overwhelming crowd of colleagues, friends, and family members who came together to celebrate her life and legacy. Notable faces spotted include Wumi Toriola, Afeez Owo, Kunle Afod, Faithia Williams, Biola Bayo, Mr Latin, Odunlade Adekola, Eniola Ajao, Yemi Solade, Saidi Balogun, Fausat Balogun, Jigan Babaoja, and many others, showing the depth of love she commanded in the industry.
Allwell Ademola may be gone, but her impact on Yoruba cinema will never be forgotten.
