The world of wrestling has lost a true icon. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, has reportedly passed away at the age of 71.
According to TMZ, emergency services rushed to his Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday, July 24, following a cardiac arrest call. Hogan was said to have been taken out on a stretcher and transported to a nearby hospital.
WWE has since confirmed the tragic news, calling Hogan one of the most influential figures in wrestling history.
His legendary career, from “Hulkamania” to “Hollywood Hogan,” changed the face of sports entertainment forever.
