A passionate appeal has emerged from across the Atlantic as a Caucasian woman based in the United States is calling on the Nigerian government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to immediately release popular social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM).

In a viral video circulating online, the woman, who identifies herself as “Mama with the Big Bag,” expressed outrage over VDM’s continued detention, describing it as an abuse of power and a violation of his rights.

She hailed VeryDarkMan as a fearless voice for the voiceless and slammed the EFCC for what she described as an unjust arrest meant to silence him.

Issuing a bold warning, she threatened to escalate the situation to U.S. military authorities if VDM is not released by the evening of Monday, May 5. Her emotional plea has added to the growing international pressure on Nigerian authorities, with netizens applauding her fearless stance in standing up for a Nigerian activist from thousands of miles away.

“To the CEO of GTBank and EFCC, I am the Mama with the Big Bag. This is a direct contact from the United States of America. Free Verydarkman by Monday evening, or a letter will be sent by the US military. This is a warning and not an AI video,” she declared.
