Charles Idibia, popularly known as Charlybrave and brother to legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba, has broken his silence in a no-holds-barred open letter that’s setting social media on fire. In the emotional Instagram post, Charles described his brother as a peace-loving, selfless man who constantly sacrifices his own happiness just to protect others—even when they hurt him.
But the letter quickly shifted into an intense exposé targeting a woman alleged to be 2Baba’s current partner. Charles claimed she has taken full control of the singer’s digital and personal life—cloning his WhatsApp, impersonating him, deleting business messages, and even using his platforms to beg for marriage while he was asleep.
He went further to allege she’s isolated 2Baba from his Lagos team, forced him into silence, manipulated his podcast responses, and created chaos disguised as love. “You’re no longer the 2Baba we know,” Charles wrote. “She’s draining you emotionally while posing as a partner.”
Calling her a “psychotic fan” and “cancerous leech,” Charlybrave ended with a heartfelt plea for his brother to take a break from everything, including social media, to heal for the sake of his seven children.
