Social media activist VeryDarkMan has strongly criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, accusing it of ignoring the persistent violence caused by suspected herdsmen.
In a video shared on Instagram, he condemned the government’s silence on deadly attacks, particularly in Benue and Edo, where many lives have been lost.
He expressed frustration over the authorities’ lack of action while prioritizing other security concerns, such as the state of emergency in Rivers State. He warned that if the government fails to intervene, the violence could escalate into a major religious crisis.
“Today is your birthday, Mr. President, but I cannot wish you a happy birthday because you don’t wish your people well,” he said. “If you did, you would understand that this herdsmen issue is slowly gaining strength, and very soon, it might turn into a religious war in Nigeria.”
“It feels like the government is afraid of this herdsmen issue,” he stated. “They don’t want to talk about it. Now, look at where it is heading. Next thing, it will turn into a religious war because Northerners are claiming that Muslims are being killed. And for some reason, the media is silent on this matter.”
“Jungle justice is never the way. No matter how painful the situation is, I will never support it,”
“Be careful. This thing will lead to a religious war very soon. We are slowly approaching it,” he warned.
