Veteran Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has made it clear that he has no intention of ever quitting music. The 39-year-old artiste boldly stated that he would rather be called an “up-and-coming” act than completely walk away from the music scene.
His response came after some critics accused him of chasing clout on social media. Terry G, who is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the Street-hop movement in the 2010s, gave fans countless bangers such as Free Madness, Sangalo, Akpako Master, and Run Mad.
Now, the legendary hitmaker is staging a massive comeback with a brand-new collaboration featuring rising star Victony on a track titled Tanko. Fans are already buzzing with excitement, as Terry G proves once again that true legends never fade away — they only reinvent themselves.
Taking to his X handle, Terry G wrote:
“I don’t mind being called an upcoming artist. You only earn the title of legend when you retire and I will never retire. So, if you see me chasing clout, just allow me.”
