Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, recently shared a video detailing her struggles with illness.

In the clip, she humorously narrated her experience battling malaria while showing her doctors attending to her and administering an injection to aid her recovery.

Despite feeling unwell, Teni also posted a performance video where she entertained her audience with her hit songs.

In her video caption, the Sugar Mummy of Lagos reflected on the reality that money cannot buy good health, contradicting the lyrics of her popular song Money, which emphasizes wealth as a solution to many problems.

A line from Teni’s lyrics in her ‘Money’ song read:

“Money can’t buy you love, money can’t fill this emptiness, but I want all the money in the world. Money don’t buy you happiness, money can’t buy you love.”
