Super Falcons star defender Tosin Demehin has officially extended her stay with Galatasaray Women after a remarkable debut season that cemented her status as one of Nigeria’s brightest defensive talents.
The 23-year-old centre-back, who joined from Stade de Reims in 2024, became a key figure for the Turkish giants, featuring in 26 matches, scoring once, and helping the team secure a fourth-place league finish alongside their historic first-ever UEFA Women’s Champions League appearance.
Her stellar club form mirrored her international rise, as she played every game at WAFCON Morocco 2024, scored her first international goal, and lifted Nigeria’s record 10th title. With this extension, Demehin joins Victor Osimhen in flying the Nigerian flag high at Galatasaray.
