Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has opened up about his difficult spell at AC Milan, admitting he wasn’t given enough time to fully express himself on the pitch.

The Nigerian international, now on a season-long loan at Fulham, has rediscovered his form in the Premier League, scoring two goals and providing four assists in just nine appearances.

Chukwueze, who joined Milan from Villarreal, revealed that English football suits his style better, sparking conversations among fans about his revival.

“I don’t think I was given the time or the opportunities I needed,” he was quoted by Milanista.

“But that’s football. I just have to keep working. Maybe one day I’ll return to Serie A, or La Liga, or stay in the Premier League. English football probably suits my style better than Italian tactics.”

Despite moving on loan, Samuel Chukwueze has insisted his bond with AC Milan remains strong, stressing that his connection with the Rossoneri is far from over.

“I miss Milan,” Chukwueze admitted.

“It’s my second home. My family are still there, so of course I miss the city. They are doing well and I wish them all the best, I’m still a Milan player, after all, because I’m only on loan.”
