Seven individuals were arraigned before a Kwara State High Court on February 3, 2025, in connection with the alleged murder of Awesu Mojisola, a final-year student at the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa.
The victim was reportedly lured to Ilorin by Happiness Adebayo and Timileyin Kolawole, where she was murdered and her body dumped at a site in Warah community between August 8-9, 2024.
The accused, including Adebayo, Kolawole, Adebayo Adeniyi, Bukola Adeniyi, Adeoye Adeola, Lawal Aminat, and Peter Bulus, face six charges including conspiracy, murder, and evidence destruction.
The case was adjourned to February 24, 2025, for proper arraignment, and the primary suspects were remanded in custody.
