Senator Ireti Kingibe has criticized Nigerian youths for what she calls their complacency, stating that all they do is complain, grumble, and insult their leaders.

Speaking to journalists, Kingibe, who represents the FCT in the Senate, expressed her frustration with the lack of constructive engagement from the younger generation.

She emphasized that Nigerian youths need to take ownership of their country and stop resorting to empty threats like strikes that ultimately don’t achieve anything.

Kingibe pointed out that instead of focusing on a proper agenda, many youths are stuck in negativity, which does nothing to push the nation forward.

When asked what Nigerian youths should do to reclaim their country, she urged them to take responsibility, work together, and make the country work for everyone.

She further lamented the lack of collective effort in holding leaders accountable, stressing that more action and constructive engagement are needed for meaningful change.
