The transfer window is heating up as Saudi Arabian powerhouse Al Hilal has officially submitted a massive €70 million bid to sign Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, from Napoli.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano broke the news on Thursday evening via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, confirming that the proposal includes €65 million upfront and €5 million in add-ons. The decision now lies with Napoli, as the Serie A club evaluates whether to accept the deal.
This comes just a day after reports emerged that Al Hilal was already in direct contact with Osimhen over personal terms. Sources say the Saudi club is willing to splash a staggering €30 million annual salary to secure the Nigerian striker’s signature.
Osimhen, who is currently on loan, made headlines last season with a sensational run at Galatasaray, scoring 25 goals and registering 5 assists in just 29 matches. He is expected to return to Napoli this summer, where his current contract runs until 2026.
