Controversial activist and social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), stormed the gates of the FCT Ministry on June 22 with a bold demand — end the ongoing strike by primary school teachers in Abuja.
In a powerful display, VDM conducted a mock classroom session with school children dressed in uniforms, chanting, “S for Suegbe, T for Tinubu, W for Wike!” — sparking massive reactions online.
Teachers in public primary schools across the FCT have been on strike since March 24, protesting the Area Councils’ refusal to implement the ₦70,000 minimum wage, leaving students idle for over 90 days.
VDM issued a 7-day ultimatum to the FCT authorities, warning that if no action is taken, a massive protest involving students from across the FCT will be staged. He also hinted at upcoming protests for striking primary healthcare workers.
“We’re not attacking Wike, we just want him to see what’s happening,” VDM said. “Maybe he’s forgotten, with all the stress and 2027 preparations.”
