After days of confusion and online outrage, veteran actress Rita Daniels has finally located her son, Sammy Daniels, who was reportedly arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja under the alleged orders of her son-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The family drama between Ned Nwoko and his wife, actress Regina Daniels, has taken a shocking turn in recent days, with Regina’s brothers accusing the billionaire politician of using his influence to detain Sammy. According to reports, Sammy was arrested in Lagos on Monday and later transferred to Abuja, leaving his family and supporters deeply worried as his whereabouts remained unknown.
Regina’s brother, Sweezy Daniels, had earlier called for a nationwide protest demanding Sammy’s release, while both he and Regina took to social media to call out Ned Nwoko and the authorities involved.
In a video shared last night, a relieved Rita Daniels and her husband thanked Nigerians for their support and prayers after they successfully located Sammy. However, it remains unclear whether he will be arraigned in court or released soon.
