Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, also known as Omoborty, addressed the growing pressure on her to name the marketers who allegedly forced her out of the Yoruba film industry.

She had previously shared that her departure was due to blacklisting by marketers after she rejected their sexual advances. These marketers reportedly instructed producers to exclude her from projects and removed her image from promotional materials.
In response to calls on social media, Biodun questioned whether she should reveal their names, considering the potential consequences.

She emphasized that wisdom should guide her actions, noting that despite not acting for over a decade, she is thriving. Omoborty encouraged fans to support actors on platforms like YouTube, where marketers have less influence.

She wrote;

“Hmmmmm!

I saw a lot of comments saying I should mention the names of the said marketers. Should I?

I heard it’s call-out season! Omo! Anyways, wisdom is profitable to direct.

These marketers are alive, and seeing it all; they know themselves. God has done well, and I’m doing extremely well despite not featuring in movies for more than a decade. Isn’t God marvelous?

Meanwhile, God bless the good ones among them. Not all of them are bad. We didn’t date them, yet they did well. But there’s only so much they can do because, in the end, the majority carries the vote. But thank God for YouTube now.

So you fans, too, need to please support us by subscribing to our YouTube channels.”
