Controversial media personality Radiogad has criticized Davido following his repeated losses at the Grammy Awards, urging the Afrobeats star to stop submitting his songs for consideration.
In a video shared on Instagram, Radiogad expressed his belief that it is clear Davido will never win a Grammy, despite his continuous efforts. He argued that Davido’s strong desire for the award has become too apparent, which, in his view, has made the Grammy organizers aware of his desperation.
Radiogad compared Davido’s music to that of his fellow artists, such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Tems, all of whom have already won Grammy Awards.
He suggested that Davido’s relentless pursuit of the Grammy had become “laughable” and advised the singer to distance himself from the award body altogether.
This criticism comes shortly after Tems won the Best African Music Performance award at the 2025 Grammys, further highlighting her rising success.
In addition to his criticism, Radiogad expressed concern for Davido’s mental health, warning that repeated Grammy rejections could lead to severe consequences, including depression or even a heart attack.
He concluded by emphasizing that the Grammy Awards cannot be manipulated and advised Davido to accept the reality that winning the prestigious award may not be in his future.
