President Bola Ahmed Tinubu convened a high-level security meeting at the State House on Sunday evening, bringing together all Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of the DSS, and heads of major intelligence agencies.
According to an update shared on his official social media page, the President revealed that they are currently reviewing critical security reports and taking urgent, decisive steps to stabilize affected regions and ensure the safety of Nigerians nationwide. The meeting comes amid growing concerns over rising insecurity across the country.
“I am receiving continuous briefings and have directed our security services to move with speed, precision, and absolute resolve.
As President, I am fully committed to the security of all Nigerians. Those who threaten the peace and security of our nation will face the full weight of the law.
