Nigerian street-hop sensation Portable has taken to social media to passionately appeal to the EFCC and GTBank for the release of controversial activist VeryDarkMan.
In a heartfelt video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Portable described VDM as a “generous soul,” noting that while they’ve had disagreements in the past, he cannot ignore the influencer’s consistent efforts to help others.
VeryDarkMan was reportedly arrested shortly after stepping out of a GTBank branch, sparking outrage and speculation nationwide.
While the exact reason for his arrest remains unclear, many believe it may be linked to issues surrounding the bank visit. Portable’s plea has since gained momentum online, as fans join the chorus demanding answers and justice for the outspoken content creator.
Portable pleaded with the EFCC, saying: “Please, because of God. Please free VeryDarkMan, he is my friend. He gives people food, he helps a lot of people. I love people who help people.”
