Nigerian TikToker Peller has raised concerns about receiving death threats after urging Nigerians to halt the #30DayRants challenge on TikTok.

He warned that continued criticism of poor governance through the challenge could lead to a ban on the platform, affecting his income.
His stance sparked backlash, with many accusing him of defending the government.

During a recent livestream, he revealed that some individuals threatened to shoot him, even referencing the 2023 shooting of fellow content creator Oloba Salo in Lekki, Lagos.

He said, “I have been receiving death threats. Some people threatened to shoot me like they shot Salo in Lekki Phase 1. They asked me to watch my back when going out.

“What is all these? I’m not talking again. Good bye.”
