Ousmane Dembélé has officially been crowned the 2025 FIFA The Best Men’s Player after an extraordinary, career-defining season with Paris Saint-Germain. The French forward received the prestigious award at a ceremony held in Qatar, capping off a year in which he dominated both club and international football. FIFA confirmed that Dembélé’s decisive performances across multiple competitions made him the standout player during the assessment period.

The 28-year-old was instrumental in PSG’s historic campaign, playing a key role in delivering the club’s first-ever UEFA Champions League title. He scored eight goals and provided six assists as PSG completed an unforgettable European run. Domestically, Dembélé helped the Paris side secure a remarkable treble, lifting the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France, and Trophée des Champions, while finishing as joint top scorer in the league.

On the international stage, he contributed to France’s third-place finish in the UEFA Nations League and featured in the squad that reached the final of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup. Dembélé also swept multiple individual honours, including Champions League Player of the Season and Ligue 1 Player of the Year. Already a Ballon d’Or winner, this season is widely regarded as the finest of his career.
