Wunmi, the widow of Mohbad, has accused social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) of persistent harassment and spreading false claims about her husband’s death and their son, Liam.
In a detailed Instagram post, she alleged that VDM is obstructing justice for Mohbad while also questioning Liam’s paternity, further complicating the ongoing investigations and legal matters surrounding the case.
She wrote:
“Vincent, for nearly two years, I have endured your harassment, false narratives, and attempts to obstruct justice for my late husband, Mohbad. Despite my silence, you have continued to spread misinformation, even going so far as to question the paternity of our son, Liam.”
She stated that her silence was not a weakness, but a deliberate choice to mourn with respect and let the law take its path. Wunmi also talked about the allegations regarding a former disagreement with Mohbad
“Let me reiterate that I will not be coerced into giving full details of any disagreements my husband and I had. Couples argue, and it’s normal. I’d like to remind you that I recorded my husband during an episode he had after suffering trauma at the hands of some NDLEA officers. I played the recording back to him, and he apologized. We then moved forward, got married, and had a child.”
Wunmi criticized VeryDarkMan for allegedly backing those who mistreated Mohbad before his death and reaffirmed her stance on Liam’s paternity.
“Regarding the DNA test, I’ve stated repeatedly that I’m willing to cooperate when my father-in-law is ready, and my lawyers are handling it according to the law. However, I will not be dictated to or commanded by you or anyone aside from those mentioned.”
Wunmi warned VeryDarkMan to stop interfering in her life and respect her boundaries.
“Let this serve as a final warning: I will no longer respond to your messages or engage with you in any way or form. Because the last time I checked, you’re just one of the benefactors of my husband’s death who bullied his immediate family and used his death to gain popularity and fame.”
Wunmi urged VeryDarkMan to focus on his own family matters instead of interfering in her personal life and ongoing struggles with Mohbad’s case.
“If you’re genuinely concerned about DNA testing, I suggest you start by questioning your own paternity. Mind your business and leave me and my family out of your vindictive pursuits.”
