Former Togo international and ex-Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has once again declared his undying admiration for Nigerian football icon Nwankwo Kanu, calling him his “god of football” and ultimate inspiration. During a chat with Brila FM, Adebayor who once wore Kanu’s iconic No. 25 jersey and even used his former locker at Arsenal described the moment as life-changing.
“I beg you people, stop comparing us,” Adebayor said. “Kanu is my idol. My god of football. He’s untouchable.”
