Mark Epstein, brother of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, is once again challenging the official narrative surrounding his brother’s controversial jailhouse death. In a recent interview with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo, Mark Epstein dismissed the federal government’s conclusion that Jeffrey died by suicide, calling it “stupid” and accusing officials of trying to cover up the truth.

“Every time they try to silence talk about foul play, they just embarrass themselves even more,” he said, mocking FBI Director Kash Patel’s claim that “you know a suicide when you see it.” Mark clapped back sharply, saying Patel “listed his credentials as a prosecutor, but he’s no forensic pathologist. Does he even have a Boy Scout merit badge for first aid?”

He also pointed out that two prominent medical examiners, Dr. Kristin Roman and Dr. Michael Baden, couldn’t give a definitive ruling, with their autopsies leaning more toward homicide than suicide.

“Was Kash Patel in the autopsy room? No. Was he in the prison when Jeffrey died? No — and if he was, then we’ve got a bigger issue,” Mark said.

The Department of Justice maintains that there’s no evidence Epstein was murdered while in federal custody. The investigation also found no proof of a rumored “client list,” contradicting claims made by former Attorney General Pam Bondi.
