Influencer Geh Geh has caused a stir online with his review of Davido’s 5ive album, calling it “mid” and a letdown. He criticized unnecessary collaborations, especially with Chris Brown, and argued that Nigerian listeners would have preferred to see more local talent featured.
Geh Geh also noted that Davido’s music style hasn’t evolved much, staying too close to his early sound. The review has sparked debates on social media, with fans divided on the album’s quality.
“Davido is not evolving; you no dey change, your brand is the same. E just be like say since the days of Dami Duro nothing really change about Davido. Even the sound no dey evolve,” he said in part.
