Kelechi Iheanacho, Super Eagles striker, successfully completed his medical with Championship club Middlesbrough on Monday, ahead of his loan move until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old agreed to join the 2004 EFL Cup winners, with the option for a permanent transfer next summer.
Middlesbrough will cover almost the entire €2m owed to Iheanacho by Sevilla for the remainder of the season.
After a tough stint in Spain, where he struggled to score in La Liga, Iheanacho seeks to revive his form at Riverside Stadium as Boro aims for Premier League promotion.
