It’s raining rewards in Imo State as Governor Hope Uzodinma has honoured six Super Falcons players with a whopping ₦10 million each for their standout performance at the 2024 WAFCON, totaling ₦60 million!
That’s not all — Assistant Coach Ann Chiejine also bagged ₦10 million, bringing the total reward package to ₦70 million!
The honoured stars — Chiamaka Nnadozie, Jennifer Echegini, Osinachi Ohale, Oluchi Oluehi, Chinwendu Ihezuo, and Michelle Alozie — are all proud daughters of Imo State and played vital roles in Nigeria’s electrifying 3-2 win over Morocco in the WAFCON final.
The grand reception took place at the Government House in Owerri, days after President Tinubu celebrated the Super Falcons with $100,000, a three-bedroom home, and national honours. This double recognition is lighting up the nation with pride!
