Self-proclaimed financial advisor GheGhe has weighed in on the ongoing dispute between Afrobeats star Burna Boy and Lagos socialite Sophia Egbueje, revealing his intention to sue the artist.
The controversy began when an audio recording surfaced in which Egbueje accused Burna Boy of failing to buy her a Lamborghini as promised in exchange for a romantic relationship.
In response, Burna Boy released a sharp freestyle mocking Egbueje and later performed it at his concert in Kenya, encouraging the crowd to chant ‘Opueh,’ a song by GheGhe.
GheGhe, whose track gained popularity during a social media feud involving Saidaboj, now claims copyright infringement and plans to sue Burna Boy for one billion naira.
“Burna Boy doesn’t know the trouble he’s gotten himself into, ‘Opueh’, is trademarked,” He stated.
