Former President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a strong message of support and encouragement to President Bola Tinubu as he marks his second year in office. In a statement issued through his media aide, Garba Shehu, Buhari congratulated Tinubu and reminded Nigerians that leadership is a continuous journey, not a one-time event.
Buhari called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for the APC-led government, stressing that meaningful reforms take time and shouldn’t be derailed by political distractions. He acknowledged the administration’s efforts to tackle poverty and inflation, noting that the poorest Nigerians bear the brunt of the economic challenges.
The former president urged private sector players and ordinary citizens to rally behind the government, emphasizing that fixing Nigeria is a collective responsibility. Buhari wrapped up his message with a powerful call for hope, urging Nigerians to stay optimistic and confident about the nation’s future.
