Nigerian music executive EeZee Tee has addressed the ongoing controversy with gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, which revolves around their professional relationship, contract disputes, and allegations of financial mismanagement.
EeZee Tee was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for nine days in connection with the matter. After his release, he revealed that he was pressured into sending $274,000 to Mercy Chinwo.
He emphasized the need for honesty and transparency, accusing her of failing to deliver her third album and singles, and highlighting concerns over her financial handling.
” I was forced to transfer $274,000 to Mercy Chinwo. Why am I transferring money to her when she’s not giving back what she owes”, He stated.
