Big shake-up in the Edo State House of Assembly! 🚨 Hon. Natasha Osawaru Irobosa, rumored to be in a relationship with Nigerian music icon 2Baba, has been dismissed from her position as the Minority Leader. This move is part of a larger leadership reshuffle that also saw the removal of other prominent PDP members, including Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian (Majority Leader) and Hon. Yekini Idaiye (Chief Whip).
The changes come after a significant political shift in the Assembly, where four PDP lawmakers switched allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC), causing the PDP to lose its majority status. With the new changes, Hon. Ibhamawu Jonathan Aigbokhan from the APC takes over as the Majority Leader, while Hon. Addeh Emakhu Isibor and Hon. Lecky Hussein Mustapha are now Deputy Majority Leader and Chief Whip.
Despite the reshuffle, the current Speaker, Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Maria Edeko, both of the PDP, will remain in their positions. The PDP is expected to propose new candidates for key roles, while the political landscape in Edo State continues to evolve.
