There was major drama today, June 11, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos, and guess who was at the center of it all? Senator Adams Oshiomhole, former governor of Edo State!
According to multiple eyewitnesses and a now-viral video, the senator allegedly stormed the Zulu Terminal at the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) after reportedly arriving late for his flight to Abuja. What followed was total chaos!
Sources claim that when Oshiomhole was informed he had missed the boarding window, he allegedly lashed out at airport staff, demanding the airline delay the aircraft for him. When the request was denied, the senator is said to have blocked the terminal entrance, stopping other passengers from entering the departure hall.
The heated exchange between Oshiomhole and the airline staff quickly drew attention, with bystanders recording the clash and sharing it online — and trust Nigerians, it went viral in no time!
As of now, both the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) have not issued any official statement.
This incident has left Nigerians divided online, with many slamming the sense of VIP entitlement while others defend the senator’s actions.
Have you seen the video? What are your thoughts?
