Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the Delta State Governor, has responded to actress Mercy Johnson Okojie’s claim that Regina Daniels was 17 when she married lawmaker Ned Nwoko.
Posting on Facebook, Ovie clarified that Regina was actually 19 years old at the time of her marriage, contradicting Mercy’s statement and sparking reactions online.
He wrote
‘’Mercy Johnson should stop spreading lies , Regina was not 17 when Ned got married to her .
Ned married Regina Daniels 2019!!!
Regina Daniels date of birth is 10/10/2000 making her 19 years at the time.
I am disappointed with this age narrative thing .
Honestly I don’t like what is going on.
