Former BBNaija star Deeone has stirred up heated conversations online after boldly comparing the lavish weddings of Mr Eazi & Temi Otedola to that of Davido & Chioma.
In a video shared on Instagram, the comedian claimed that the Otedola-Ajibade union reportedly gulped nearly $14 million, spanning across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, with top dignitaries like Aliko Dangote and Abdul Samad Rabiu in attendance.
He contrasted this with Davido and Chioma’s Miami wedding, which he estimated at about $6 million, insisting that while the Adeleke family is wealthy, they cannot match the financial might of the Otedolas and Mr Eazi’s family. Taking a swipe at Davido’s circle, especially Cubana Chiefpriest, Deeone mocked those who once boasted with slogans like “Money na Water” but are now quiet.
He wrapped up by urging Nigerians to air their views freely, since both weddings were public, while reminding fans that wealth levels are never equal—so comparisons should be made with caution.
