Popular social media critic Daniel Regha has stirred the internet once again, this time targeting Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy over his latest single “Ta Ta Ta” featuring American rap icon Travis Scott.
Despite the high-profile collaboration, Regha didn’t hold back in a post on X (formerly Twitter), describing the track as underwhelming and lacking any real impact.
Regha, who insists he’s not a troll but a truth-teller, went as far as saying Burna Boy’s recent music sounds like “child’s play,” a far cry from the lyrical excellence that once made the “Last Last” crooner a global sensation. He added that Burna’s current success appears to ride more on clout and big-name features than on true artistry or substance.
This isn’t Daniel Regha’s first jab at an A-list artist. He previously slammed Davido for the “Timeless” album cover, calling it dark and uninspired. With his fearless takes and sharp tongue, Regha continues to shake the table in the entertainment world — and social media is eating it up!
“Burna’s songs lately has been without substance; That collab “TaTaTa” ft. Travis Scott is more of a child’s play than actual music, and it’s disappointing considering how good he is, or used to be. At this point the only thing selling his songs is the brand and collabs, but truth be told, they are easily forgettable. This new song was weak. No shades.”
