Popular Nigerian OAP Ifedayo Olarinde, known as Daddy Freeze, has expressed renewed optimism in Nigeria under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.
He compared the nation to an overloaded truck with engine problems, emphasizing the difficulties of fixing it. According to him, Tinubu’s policies have given citizens a sense of hope.
He urged Nigerians to be patient, acknowledging that the country’s deep-rooted issues require time to resolve. In an interview with Nigeria Info FM, he stated that despite initial fears, Tinubu’s efforts, particularly in the power sector, have reassured him about Nigeria’s future.
“Nigeria is a big overloaded tipper with a bad engine. So, anybody or mechanic you bring will struggle. The leadership is that mechanic.
“Nigeria has so many problems. Sometimes, us expecting a particular government to be able to just come and fix it, is a bit ambitious.
“I was worried initially but with the way this regime has handled things up until now, I am leaning towards the fact that we finally have hope in this country.”
