Nigerian dancehall queen Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has broken her silence after Peter Okoye of P-Square name-dropped her during his recent online rants about his rocky relationship with elder brother and ex-manager, Jude Okoye.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Cynthia expressed mixed emotions, saying it was painful to see her name used in the messy drama. She addressed Peter directly:

“I have mixed feelings about my name popping up like this. I am not weak. Certain family members made it look that way… you included, until you found out the truth. Na me still listen to una sha.”

Cynthia revealed that during their 2020 meeting, Peter shockingly admitted that his public support for her wasn’t out of genuine concern, but to shade his brothers.

“He said his brother is richer than me and that his online stance was never about me. That meeting broke me.”

She said they reconciled in 2023 and Peter apologized—but now she feels blindsided again by what she calls “disparaging” use of her name.
