Nigerian comedian Tolulope Olayiwola, popularly known as Remote, had fans laughing after sharing a humorous prophecy he claimed to have received from God about Lagos State Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu.

At an event where the governor was seated with other dignitaries, Remote approached him and revealed that God spoke to him while he was in the bathroom, calling the governor by his first name, Jide.

He jokingly claimed that God told him Sanwo-Olu was considering running for president in the United States and that his political future was already set.

The governor burst into laughter and playfully responded that if the prophecy came true, Remote would be his vice president. The comedian was surprised by Sanwo-Olu’s reaction and laughed along.

Before leaving, Remote also mentioned his disappointment with Arsenal’s recent poor performance.

This lighthearted exchange comes after past interactions between comedians and the governor. Notably, Mr. Macaroni previously met Sanwo-Olu at an event but deliberately ignored him, leading the governor to address the snub.
