Popular comedian and actor Basketmouth (Bright Okpocha) has advised ex-couples to stop dragging each other online after a breakup or divorce. Speaking from experience, the comedy icon admitted that even though his own marriage faced challenges, he never brought his private issues to social media.
Basketmouth emphasized that every marriage goes through tough times but maturity means handling things privately. He also urged parents to remember their children before going public with their fights, warning that such online drama could embarrass the kids who now have access to social media.
Reacting to the ongoing Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko controversy, Basketmouth appealed to Ned to manage the situation with emotional intelligence, saying real adults protect their family’s dignity — not their pride.
