Afrobeats superstar Davido is melting hearts once again—this time with touching words about his wife, Chioma, and her incredible relationship with all his children, including those from previous relationships. 
In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Davido opened up about the family dynamics many fans have always been curious about. He revealed how naturally Chioma has blended into the lives of his children, sharing that she has formed genuine bonds with each of them. One standout moment? Davido recalled a heartwarming scene during a vacation in the Bahamas, where Chioma was braiding his daughter Hailey’s hair. “I didn’t even have to tell Hailey that Chioma was her stepmom,” he said, beaming with pride. “She just knew, and they vibed instantly.”
The 30BG boss admitted that he was once nervous about introducing Chioma to his other kids, unsure how things would play out. But watching their connection flourish brought him peace and joy. “She knows all my kids, and they love her,” he added.
Davido also shared that he and Chioma go way back—they met when he was just 18! Their love story continues to inspire fans across the world, now made even sweeter with the harmony she’s built within their blended family.

“Chioma knows about all my kids, my kids love her, especially my daughter (Hailey) so I’m just happy to see growth. There was a time I was scared to even bring my other kids around her, I didn’t even have to tell my daughter who Chioma was, she just understood it, next thing we were in Bahamas, with my wife braiding her hair and I was like Yess!!. Before we got married, we were together for like 11 years. We met in school, she was my girlfriend and then we got married. I was 18 when we met.”
