The Janaza (funeral) prayer for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif Kevin Ayodele, both close friends of boxing superstar Anthony Joshua, has been officially scheduled.
According to a statement released by Boxing Kind Media, the prayer service will hold on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 10:00am at the London Central Mosque.
Their bodies were recently repatriated to the United Kingdom after a tragic car accident in Nigeria. Ghami and Ayodele lost their lives on Monday, December 29, 2025, when their Lexus SUV collided with a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in Ogun State.
Anthony Joshua, who was also involved in the crash, survived and is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital. The heartbreaking incident has continued to draw emotional reactions from fans worldwide.
