Transfer tension is rising as Super Eagles star Ademola Lookman has made a bold social media move, deleting all traces of Atalanta from his Instagram following the club’s rejection of Inter Milan’s €42M bid (plus €3M add-ons).
Despite agreeing to personal terms with Inter, Atalanta is refusing to budge below their €60M asking price. In what seems like a direct reaction, Lookman unfollowed the club, scrubbed his bio, removed photos in their jersey, and even changed his profile pic.
The winger also missed Atalanta’s pre-season clash with RB Leipzig due to a calf injury — but fans aren’t buying the timing.
Lookman has been a powerhouse since joining Atalanta in 2022, netting 52 goals in 118 games and etching his name in history with a Europa League final hat-trick. He’s also the reigning CAF African Footballer of the Year, succeeding Victor Osimhen.
