Nigerian actress and singer Bisola Aiyeola has opened up about her early misconceptions about fame and the valuable lessons she has learned in her entertainment career.

She admitted that she once believed success would come easily but soon realized that patience and perseverance are crucial. Speaking with Saturday Beats, Aiyeola shared that she initially expected fame and fortune to arrive quickly.

However, her journey taught her that hard work and dedication are necessary for long-term success in the industry.

She said, “I wish I knew that I needed to be patient. When I initially joined, I was a bit entitled. I didn’t think that I had to be patient. I just felt like if people knew me, I would blow automatically. But that didn’t happen. So, I had to be patient, and finally, here we are.”

Bisola Aiyeola emphasized balancing relationships with setting clear personal boundaries, “You have to know yourself, that’s the first thing. When you know yourself, you know the kind of things that you can tolerate. I am an acquaintance to so many people, but my circle is very small. So I always have to protect my peace, protect my energy. And the best way to do that is to know myself. I feel it’s easy to just compartmentalize people and relationships when you know yourself.”

Bisola Aiyeola praised her experience on KieKie Unscripted Experience, highlighting its unique blend of education, entertainment, and empowerment, which deeply resonated with her.

“Everything about it was great. I loved it. I had a swell time on the show. One of my favourite aspects of the show was the live music, it was amazing”, she added.
