Nigerian music star Portable is set to release a new EP, “Ogo Wanted,” which narrates his conflict with the Ogun State government.
Recently, the singer was declared wanted by the police on multiple charges. He later surrendered at the Lagos SCID and was transferred to the Ogun State Police headquarters. Portable faced court charges of conspiracy, assault, and weapon possession, pleading not guilty.
He was granted N20 million bail and warned not to discuss the case online. Despite this, he shared a preview of his EP on Instagram, boasting that he earns more from music than internet fraudsters, known as “Yahoo boys.” The trial continues on March 5.
He said …
“OGO wanted. Music money pass Yahoo. Zeh Nation many inspiration”.
