Paul Ibe, spokesperson to used Vice President Atiku Abubakar has criticised the Senate for questioning Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe’s defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a post on X on Friday, Ibe accused the Senate leadership of selectively invoking constitutional provisions.
He alleged that the Senate did not elevate the same concerns when participants of the opposition had been defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
His phrases: “All of a unexpected Tinubu’s lapdog Senate is invoking sections of the Nigerian Constitution in querying Sen. Abaribe’s defection to the ADC.

Ibe mentioned Abaribe had already been suspended by the Abia chapter of the All Progressives Stout Alliance (APGA) earlier than figuring out with the ADC.
