Pastor Odumeje has urged his followers to stop recording him in public, emphasizing that he is a prophet, not a celebrity.

Speaking to his congregation, the Anambra-based preacher expressed his displeasure with being filmed, stating that many people who do so are unaware of his true background.

He highlighted that he is recognized for his miracles and serves solely as a pastor, not an entertainer.

Odumeje also warned that those who persist in recording him without permission might face spiritual consequences affecting their phones. His statement has sparked discussions among his supporters and social media users.

The preacher, speaking in Igbo, said …

“I don’t do social media things; I’ve told you people before nobody should video me, if you see me on the road stop bringing your phone to take pictures of me.

If you get home I will scatter that phone spiritually, I’m that bad.

I’m a prophet; I’m not a celebrity. Forever and ever I remain the same.”
