A deeply heartbreaking video currently making rounds online has captured the final moments and joyful arrival of two close friends and coaches of British-Nigerian boxing superstar Anthony Joshua, who tragically lost their lives in a fatal road accident in Ogun State.
The devastating crash reportedly occurred in Makun, Ogun State, when a Lexus SUV conveying the group collided with a stationary truck along the highway on Monday, December 29.
The two victims, identified as Sina Evovle, Anthony Joshua’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Laz, popularly known online as Healthy_Mindset, his personal trainer, had reportedly just arrived in Nigeria to spend the Christmas holidays with the boxing champion. Videos shared on social media showed them full of excitement at the Lagos airport, unaware that their visit would end in tragedy.
Authorities later confirmed that the two foreign nationals died on the spot. Officials attributed the accident to overspeeding and wrongful overtaking, sparking renewed conversations about road safety in Nigeria. The tragic loss has left fans heartbroken and social media in mourning.
