Fresh drama continues to unfold in the high-profile paternity dispute surrounding Liam, the young son of the late singer Ilerioluwa Imole Aloba. The controversy began months ago when the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, demanded that his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, undergo a DNA test to verify Liam’s paternity. Since then, the matter has bounced back and forth in court, with Wunmi accusing her father-in-law of deliberately withholding the necessary signatures to proceed with the testing.
In a recent court filing, Wunmi revealed that Joseph Aloba allegedly tried to dictate the terms of the DNA test, insisting it be conducted at two foreign hospitals of his choice, claiming only these facilities could produce reliable results. She further accused him of attempting to influence the outcome, even though he was the one requesting an additional examination.
The court has now intervened, ruling that it will independently select the hospital for the DNA test.
