President Bola Ahmed Tinubu touched down in Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, following a two-week annual vacation in Paris, France.
The Nigerian leader was warmly received at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Tinubu had departed Nigeria on September 4, 2025, initially planning to split his holiday between France and the United Kingdom. While in Paris, he held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
The presidency announced on Monday, September 15, that Tinubu would cut short his trip and return home the following day, resuming official duties in the nation’s capital.
