Popular comedian and skit maker Zicsaloma has taken to Instagram to lament bitterly about the alleged harassment he constantly faces from police officers in Lagos. According to him, he’s stopped over five times a day despite having all his valid papers, including a Tint Permit.
The comic star narrated how officers allegedly block his car, jump inside, and demand he follow them to the station over flimsy excuses. In one incident, they reportedly tried to walk him behind the station until passersby recognized him and started hailing his name — a move that suddenly made the officers change their tone before eventually releasing him.
Zicsaloma said the harassment is so relentless that driving his Benz now feels like a curse, as he keeps getting flagged down at Ajah, VGC, and even on his return trips. Frustrated, he declared that he’s tired and is seriously considering selling the car.
“All my documents are complete, but the stress is too much. Who wants to buy my Benz?” he ranted.
